Researchers found that youths with multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children had higher SARS-CoV-2 antibodies, compared with those with COVID-19, Kawasaki disease and hospitalized controls. The findings in Pediatrics also showed that higher levels of antibodies were linked to elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate and longer lengths of hospital and intensive care unit stay.
