DOJ seeks delay of Apollo's Cox Radio buyout

The US Department of Justice this week asked the Federal Communications Commission to postpone action on a deal that would see Apollo Global Management acquire the majority of Cox Media Group's radio stations for $500 million, giving Apollo a controlling interest. The size of the deal automatically triggers antitrust analysis, but the DOJ request to the FCC is related to Apollo's request to surpass foreign ownership limits.
