The Writers Guild of America is instructing its members to fire their talent agents, as it has been unable to reach a settlement with the Association of Talent Agents. The two groups failed to come to an agreement during their fifth session of negotiation -- which lasted only an hour -- and neither side has given any sign of when they might be prepared to resume discussions.
