FCC pitches record fines for Boston pirates

Operators behind Boston pirate stations Radio TeleBoston and Radio Concorde have repeatedly ignored Federal Communications Commission warnings to halt their unlicensed broadcasts, said FCC chief Ajit Pai this week as the commission levied record fines against the pirates. Radio TeleBoston faces a fine of $453,015 and Radio Concorde has been fined $151,005.
