Key lawmakers have reportedly agreed on a compromise plan that would make permanent the good-faith mandate in the soon-to-sunset Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act Reauthorization law and would extend those provisions to buying groups. The proposal also would require that cable companies disclose all fees on consumer bills.
