HHS said it has formed a summit of industry and government leaders to provide insight as the administration seeks to streamline, improve and align measures used across federal health care quality programs. The Quality Summit, which will be chaired by Dr. Peter Pronovost, chief clinical transformation officer at University Hospitals in Cleveland, and HHS Deputy Secretary Eric Hargan, will also discuss strategies to minimize administrative burdens and enhance the ability of health care providers to offer high-quality care.
