Gen Z is quickly becoming a bigger generation than the baby boomers and millennials, with spending power estimated at as much as $143 billion and a pattern of heavy restaurant use. The teens and 20-somethings grew up during the Great Recession, making them price-conscious, and they use digital and social media differently than their millennial counterparts.
