Vegan food shows up on more mainstream menus

Consumers across the spectrum are more frequently opting for at least some vegan meals, and restaurants from plant-based concepts to burger chains are putting vegan items on the menu to feed growing demand. "What's more, operators may seize on the opportunity to price these products at a premium, allowing for greater profitability," said Christina Donahue of Dining Alliance.
