The value of initial public offerings worldwide during the first nine months of this year was $105.7 billion, a 27% drop compared with the same period last year and the lowest level since 2016, according to Refinitiv. For the same nine-month period, the value of IPOs on US exchanges declined 2% year over year, though activity plunged 61% during the third quarter.
