The Internal Revenue Service has issued guidance on how employers can amend health flexible spending arrangements and dependent care assistance programs to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. The IRS expects many employees to have unused health FSA amounts or dependent care assistance program amounts at the end of 2020 and 2021.
