More companies are automatically enrolling new employees in 401(k) plans, and there is a trend toward higher default contribution levels, according to Fidelity Investments data from the fourth quarter. Fidelity's analysis of more than 30 million account holders also shows a record-high 233,000 investors had $1 million or more in 401(k)s.
