A study published in Diabetes Technology & Therapeutics found some of the benefits of using continuous glucose monitoring for children with type 1 diabetes included improved sleep, increased sense of safety, decreased worry, increased time spent in target blood glucose range and making informed decisions about diabetes management. The findings were based on data from the T1D Exchange involving 55 parents of children ages 1 to 7 with type 1 diabetes and an A1C level of less than 91.3 mmol/mol.
