Effects of curcumin extract on digestive health, mood

Adults with digestive issues who consumed 500mg of curcumin extract every day for eight weeks achieved greater improvements in their digestive complaints, compared with those who consumed placebo, according to a study in the journal BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies. The findings also showed that curcumin was tied to a 52% decrease in anxiety levels, compared with a 16% decrease in the placebo group.
