Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said the chamber will vote on the $1.9 trillion pandemic relief package this week as Democrats attempt to have the bill signed into law before the expiration of federal unemployment benefits. Senate lawmakers are expected to change several of the bill's provisions, including removing language raising the minimum wage to $15 after the Senate parliamentarian said the provision was not compliant with budget rules.
