Soccer training tied to improved CV health in prediabetes

A Danish study in the European Journal of Applied Physiology revealed that men and women with prediabetes had a significant improvement in cardiovascular health, including aerobic fitness and blood pressure and cholesterol levels, after 16 weeks of receiving dietary advice and two one-hour sessions of soccer training weekly, compared with those who only received dietary advice. Findings were based on patients with prediabetes between ages 55 to 70.
