Researchers have identified a protein that is apparently involved in fat cells' uptake of fatty acids and may be implicated in obesity. "We have discovered that overweight people produce less EHD2 than people with normal weight," said Claudia Matthaeus, one author of a paper published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
