A data brief by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT found that there was no change in the rate of physicians' electronic sending and receiving of health data between 2015 and 2017. Only about 10% of doctors engaged in each of the four domains of interoperability in 2015 and 2017, but the report said engagement numbers were higher for physicians who used certified EHRs and were in value-based payment models.
