Most patients and clinicians agree that variations in costs and care between different health care facilities and within organizations exist and are a cause for concern, according to a survey from Wolters Kluwer and Regina Corso Consulting. Health care facilities cited concerns about suboptimal patient care, errors in treatment because of incomplete or inaccurate information and concerns about team alignment, factors they warn threaten patients and the health care system.
