Broad definition of "digital health" weakens potential

The term "digital health" lacks a clear definition and is overused and overhyped, detracting from the potential for health-related technology to blossom, according to some J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference attendees. Lumping together innovative technology with mHealth apps and tools on the fringes of health care leads to confusion, and more robust curation is needed so health care providers know what is worth recommending to patients, American Medical Association CEO James Madara suggested.
