Health care data analytics firm Geneia surveyed 400 physicians across the US and found that 80% reported being personally at risk for burnout, while 96% said they have personally experienced or witnessed the negative effects of physician burnout. Findings also showed 86% noted that "the heightened demand for data reporting to support quality metrics and the business side of health care has diminished my joy in practicing medicine."
