Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has signed a bill that will let uninsured residents who check a new box on their tax forms be automatically enrolled in Medicaid if they qualify, and they will be contacted by state insurance exchange staff if they qualify for financial assistance to enroll in an exchange-sold health plan.
