Seventy-four percent of US adults cited concerns about their weight, while 65% were worried about the effect of being overweight on their heart health, according to an online survey conducted by the Cleveland Clinic. Based on 1,002 adults ages at least 18, researchers also found that while 84% of respondents reported having tried at least one weight-loss method previously, 30% admitted to maintaining a weight-loss plan for only one week to one month.
