Men with type 2 diabetes were at an increased risk for colorectal cancer, compared with those without diabetes, according to a study in the British Journal of Cancer. Chinese researchers used a cohort of 47,240 men from the Health Professionals Follow-up Study and 87,523 women from the Nurses' Health Study and found a positive but statistically insignificant association between type 2 diabetes and CRC risk among women.
