Study: Prevalence of EHR-related stress highest among PCPs

A study in the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association showed that 70% of physicians reported having experienced health IT-related stress, such as spending too much time on EHRs at home or having little time for documentation. Survey results from nearly 2,000 physicians in Rhode Island showed primary care physicians have the highest prevalence of EHR-related stress.
