Cowen & Co. analysts are estimating Facebook and Google could lose a combined $44 billion in ad revenue this year due to the economic downturn associated with the coronavirus pandemic and it expects Twitter to similarly see a double-digit dip, while it dubbed Amazon "generally less exposed." LightShed analyst Rich Greenfield noted in a blog post, "Digital platforms are feeling the pain soonest, given the relative ease of pulling ad spend versus mediums such as television."
