Mended Little Hearts of Coastal Virginia is working with gyms in the Norfolk, Va., area to distribute Bravery Bags packed with toiletries, stuffed animals and other items to local families whose children have congenital heart defects. "When they're scared and when they're worried and when they have no idea what's going on or what to ask, this is full of the solutions and comfort for them," said executive Crystal McCullough.
