The Roddenberry Foundation's biennial $1 million climate change prize went to four unique recipients this year, in a move that CEO Lior Ipp says empowers people to approach the issue in different ways. The prize has a climate change focus, but the work of the winners -- women's rights, reduction of food waste, education for girls and decreasing meat consumption -- is broad and focuses on how individuals can make a difference.
