Report: Nearly one in 4 nonprofit emails end up as spam

Almost a quarter of nonprofit emails end up in spam folders, costing the average nonprofit nearly $30,000 per year in lost donations, according to an EveryAction report. "Despite expanding email programs and list sizes, diminished engagement and soaring spam rates are significantly weighing down nonprofit fundraising potential," the report says.
