The Your 'Ohana Network in Hawaii is a nonprofit organization's home-visit program that partners families with volunteers who help them become the "first and best teacher" for children, says Tiffaney Miller of the Keiki O Ka 'Aina Family Learning Centers. Miller says the programs are designed to offer resources and materials to support literacy and prepare students to enter school.
