Sherwin-Williams, NL Industries and ConAgra Grocery Products have reached an agreement to end a two-decade legal battle over lead paint by paying $305 million. The settlement will go to the California county and city governments that brought the suit, and the funds will go toward resolving issues with lead paint in old housing.
