Light sweet crude exports at the Louisiana Offshore Oil Port surged to a record 283,333 barrels per day in June as US crude widened its discount to Brent and crude oil imports declined to around 56,667 bpd, trade sources say. "If there were a lot of imports coming in, they wouldn't have the space to push out all that crude," explains ClipperData CEO Abudi Zein.
