The Trump administration on Thursday authorized TC Energy to boost the capacity of the Keystone pipeline, which ships Canadian crude into the US Midwest and Gulf Coast, from 590,000 barrels per day to 760,000 bpd. "While 760,000 barrels a day is the system capacity, we anticipate being able to move an additional 50,000 barrels a day for which we secured additional 20 year contracts and would anticipate starting to increase the flows in 2021," said TC Energy spokesman Terry Cunha.
