US crude stockpiles climbed more than expected by 3.7 million barrels last week, while gasoline and distillate supplies each declined by 1.5 million barrels, according to the Energy Information Administration. West Texas Intermediate crude for April delivery fell 0.4% on Wednesday, ending the session at $56.96 per barrel.
