Workers in the fossil fuel and nuclear industries earn higher wages than workers in the wind and solar industries, according to a report from BW Research Partnership, the National Association of State Energy Officials and the Energy Futures Initiative. The report found that oil and natural gas workers saw median hourly wages of $26.59 and $30.33, respectively, compared with a median wage of $25.95 and $24.48, respectively, for wind and solar workers.
