The American Petroleum Institute's latest monthly statistical report revealed that US petroleum demand rose 5.5% month-on-month to 18.8 million barrels per day in October, crude oil exports remained stable at 7.4 million bpd, while refinery crude runs fell 0.8% to 13.9 million bpd due to hurricane disruptions. US crude oil output declined 3.7% from September to 10.7 million bpd, while natural gas liquids production stood at 5 million bpd, a record for the month.
