China is set to receive US liquefied petroleum gas for the first time in nearly 20 months as the country's government starts issuing tariff exemptions for almost 700 US goods. About 12 Chinese companies have received waivers that lower the 25% tariff for US LPG to just 1%, and sources say five US cargoes totaling 242,500 short tons have already been booked.
