The US Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia on Friday ruled that work on the Mountain Valley Pipeline can continue, much to the chagrin of environmental groups that had requested that construction be halted on grounds that the pipeline was not needed. EQT Energy expects to complete the $6 billion, 2-billion-cubic-foot-per-day natural gas project by the end of this year.
