Record drilling activity in the Bakken Shale prompted Energy Transfer to increase the capacity of the Dakota Access Pipeline system to 570,000 barrels per day, with further expansions possible if demand remains strong. The company also has received sufficient shipper interest for its proposed 600-mile Permian-to-Gulf Coast pipeline and said it was exploring a combination of its project with ExxonMobil and Plains All American Pipeline's plan for a 1 million-barrel-per-day crude and condensate pipeline from the Permian Basin.
