The Energy Information Administration expects US shale production to fall by roughly 68,000 barrels per day in October to 7.64 million bpd, in what would be the first shale output decline since May. Shale gas production is also projected to decrease for a second consecutive month to 80.6 billion cubic feet per day in October.
