According to Alaska Lt. Gov. Kevin Meyer, BP and ExxonMobil will contribute $20 million total to help Alaska bring the $43 billion Alaska LNG project to fruition and obtain a permit from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, which is expected to make a decision next year. If approved, the project could come online in 2025.
