ConocoPhillips is sticking to capital discipline

ConocoPhillips has no appetite for big corporate acquisitions in the Permian Basin, but it will continue to pursue smaller deals for adjacent acreage, Chairman and CEO Ryan Lance said. The company, which operates about 800,000 acres in the Permian, is aiming for capital spending of about $6 billion in 2019.
