North Dakota oil production increased 2% from May to an all-time high of 1.42 million barrels per day in June, while natural gas output reached a record 2.88 billion cubic feet per day, according to the state's Department of Mineral Resources. However, 24% of gas production was flared during the month, marking one of the highest percentages of flaring in several years.
