Surging output of super-light oil a problem for traders

Growing production of West Texas Light is weighing on oil supplies at Cushing, Okla., and fueling a glut in Texas amid concerns from traders that the new type of crude is too light to blend into West Texas Intermediate. Some pipeline companies are requiring shippers to separate WTL from other crude barrels, slowing the oil-to-Cushing delivery pace in March.
