With the coronavirus forcing more Americans to undertake work and schooling from home, "some really hard truths about the scope of the digital divide" will come to light, FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel told a Senate hearing. Commissioner Geoffrey Starks called for expedited experimental licenses to expand networks as well as "connectivity and economic stimulus" for broadband deployment.
