A group of teachers from a Maryland district are learning about religions and religious diversity through a program that teachers them about different religions and takes them on tours of houses of worship. Teachers say the six-day course will help be more understanding in their interactions with the district's students, a diverse group from more than 157 countries with more than 150 languages spoken at home.
