Four hearings have been scheduled by the Idaho state Board of Education on the future of the Idaho Core Standards, a version of the Common Core State Standards, after state lawmakers let them lapse on June 30. Board spokesman Mike Keckler says he hopes the hearings will produce specific issues for lawmakers to consider in 2020.
