Schools in Kansas will not reopen this school year -- a move Gov. Laura Kelly says is necessary as the state works to control the spread of the novel coronavirus that has shuttered schools across the country. The state and districts will work to develop next steps for education, says Kelly, who instructed schools to develop "continuous learning plans."
