The District of Columbia Council has voted to scale back D.C.'s eviction moratorium by letting landlords remove tenants who are determined by a judge to present a physical risk to their neighbors. In other business, D.C. Council member Charles Allen has introduced a bill intended to establish minimum speeds for and improve the affordability of internet connectivity within the district.
