Regulations requiring health insurance plans to disclose certain information include a provision requiring insurers to provide an estimate of out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs to members who request it beginning in 2024 and to publicly disclose the prices they pay for drugs beginning in 2022. The drug price disclosure provisions were not part of the proposed rules and do not apply to Medicaid or Medicare.
