Frontliners at high risk for work-related COVID-19 transmission

Findings from two studies reported in JAMA Network Open showed that there is a significant risk of frontline health care workers contracting a COVID-19 infection, which could become a contributory factor in community spread. Based on data from six countries, nearly 47% of cases were work-related, the majority in the field of health care, suggesting that frontline workers require better protection, experts said.
